Forgotten So Soon?

Hmmm....just like yesterday we have forgotten. The memories of it all have escaped our minds. We are filled with new obligations... We are filled with life.

The trust is gone. The hope and belief have been washed away by the wavetestslife. Oh how time flies.

We have forgotten so soon when
we or a loved one got so ill and asked God to take that sickness away...

We have forgotten so soon when we were poor and begged God to be rich or at least to be comfortable...

We have forgotten so soon how will trusted God to heal our broken hearts...

We have forgotten so soon how we pleaded with God for a life partner...

We have forgotten so easily how we asked Him to heal a broken relationship...

We have forgotten so soon how we asked Him to grant us success in an exam, job interview or in a contract...

We have forgotten so easily when you needed a child and asked God for one...

We have forgotten so soon how we asked God for a job...

We have forgotten so soon how we pleaded with Him for a way of escape in the hands of robbers or kidnapers or an accident...

We have forgotten so soon when all what we needed was a miracle and asked Him for one...

We have forgotten so soon how will asked Him for protection and the list goes on and on...
...And if He did, we will forever thank and trust Him. He did, but gradually we began to lose hope and trust in Him. Gradually, our life's tests started to test our faith in Him.

But the question is, can you remember when you were so depressed and you badly needed Him and He was there for you?

Can you remember when you asked Him for something with all of your heart and He showed up with the answers when you least expected?

Can you remember when it seemed as though all hope was gone and just in the nick of time, He came with beautiful surprises?

All these means that, if He could do it then, He sure will do it again. Trust is all that is needed.

To be honest, it isn't easy when life is staring you in the face with so many challenges and all you are told to do is to keep hoping and trusting God. But the one assurance you have is this, He came through for you once...several times, He will do it again.

Just like His word said "for those that put their trust in Him will never be put to shame". Don't give up on Him because He hasn't and would never give up on you.
