In life, we always strive for excellence. Even the lazy man strives to be a good at something if you really look at it.
We spend hours and hours trying to attain a certain height will have always imagined. We want to become somebody in life. No one has ever become someone in life with striving for excellence and putting in their best in everything they do, right?
We say to ourselves, if I
don't do this, how will I look back tomorrow and say, yes I did this? If I don't do this, how will my folks be proud of me? If I don't do this, how will I provide for my family?

Hours turn into days, days into weeks, weeks into months and months into years...And one day, that height will have always wanted to attain, we finally got to that height. The pinnacle of our success.
To live that luxurious life we have always dreamed of because growing up, life was difficult to go by or everyone in my family has made it so I can't be left behind...we start to buy classy glass, build mansions, hire the services of maids, chefs, travel the world etc.
Of course, I deserve it, of course I worked hard for this.
But after all these, what next?
In the process of working so hard to become somebody in life, we gradually lost touch of the most important thing...our loved ones.
Hours spent together turned to few minutes and few minutes turned into seconds...
All we utter from our mouth is, "please, not now, I am busy" or "you won't understand", " there is so much to get done", "go and get yourself busy" etc. And then slowly we lost touch.

We attained everything we wanted but lost everything we needed. And then it happens...
Death comes knocking. What will happen to those things we have acquired for ourselves? What will happen to the success and the possessions? Will you be missed or will you soon be forgotten?
This is a question everyone needs to ask him or herself and also answer it.
Success is great. Dreams, goals and ambitions are excellent but in all this, let's not forget to create time for the most important things in life. Let's not fail to impact the people around us, lets not fail to impact our world because, we only live once and everything on earth is vanity.
Aim to live a "heaven on earth" kind of life but while doing so remember that vanity upon vanity, all is vanity.
