Day 9 & 10 Of The 20 Days Challenge Of Reading & Mediating On Atleast 1 Bible Verse In A Day

#Challenge

Our Bible challenge continues. *YAAAY* Day 9  & 10...

I am sorry I wasn't able to publish a post on yesterday's challenge. I was completely fagged out. I hope I am forgiven? *Smiles*

So, which bible verse did you read & mediate on today and what did you learn from it?

Day 9 & 10-
I read & mediated on
Day 9: Exodus 14: 14 which says, ''The Lord shall fight for you and you shall hold your peace''.

What I learnt-
I learnt that God will always fight for me because He is my God. No wonder He said in Psalm 46: 10, that I should be still and I will know that He is God.

Day 10: 1 Thessalonians 5:17 which says ''Pray without ceasing''.

What I learnt-
Always be in the mood of prayer either when you are about sleeping, when you wake up, when you are driving, walking, travelling, at work, eating, in the toilet etc. Never stop praying

So beautiful people, how did you conquer your today's challenge?

Yours Truly,
Chidinma

  1. All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: That the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works.

    2 Timothy 3:16-17 KJV

  2. Pray without ceasing is a command for us Christians. Just yesterday, I read Matthew 7 vs 11 where Jesus talked about we knowing to give our children good gifts, how much more our heavenly father will give us what we ask for. And, a preacher talked about the tragedy of unoffered prayer. That God is inviting us to pray in Matthew 7 vs 7 but we don't do that enough. I found that challenging. I hope we all do and get to pray without ceasing. Thanks for sharing!
