Day 16 Of The 20 Days Challenge Of Reading And Mediating On Atleast 1 Bible Verse In A Day

#Challenge

Day 16... During the weekend, I was thinking, what can be the reward of those diligently taking part in this challenge? And the answer is simply, God's blessings. God blessing each and everyone of us with things money cannot buy and with things money can buy.

Therefore I pray as this challenge comes to an end soon, may the end of this challenge be the beginning of open doors and unmerited blessings for us. Infact I pray, that the blessings will begin to flow even before this challenge ends in Jesus Name. Amen and Amen.

So, which bible verse did you read & mediate on today and what did you learn from it?

Day 16
I actually read and mediated on more than one bible verse and they are:
Psalm 24: 1 which says, ''The earth is the Lord's and the fullness therefore the world and they that dwell therein''.

What I learnt-
Everything under the heaven belongs to God because He created them all. That is, He brought them into existence. No wonder Philipplians 2:10-11 says that God has given Jesus the power above all names, that at the mention of the name of Jesus every knee must bow: both powers in heaven and on earth and every tongue shall confess that Jesus is Lord.

Therefore thank God men ain't God because Jesus has all the powers in heaven and on earth. So we can bring things into existence as God did in the beginning because we are gods because we are the children of the most High God (Psalm 82:6).

Isaiah 54:15 which says ''Behold they shall surely gather together, but not by me: whosoever shall gather against you shall fall for your sake''.

What I learnt-
The enemies will conspire against us to bring us down in one or the other. But God is assuring us that though they will gather together, they will surely be defeated for our sake.

Isaiah 54:17 which says ''No weapon that is formed against you shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, and their righteousness is of me, saith the Lord.

What I learnt-
Weapons will be formed against us. But God is saying that they will never prosper against us. And as His children, He has given us the power to condemn and cancel whatever evil that has been said about/concerning because this is our heritage from Him.

2 Corinthians 10:5 which says ''Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ''.

What I learnt-
We have been given the power by God to cast down every evil thoughts and imaginations and bring them under obedience to our Lord Jesus. Remember Philipplians 2:10-11? *Smiles*

So beautiful people, how did you conquer your today's challenge?

Yours Truly,
Chidinma
