8 more days to go. Who is excited and who is sad that the challenge will soon end? Day 12 of our ongoing Bible challenge. *Smiles*
So, which bible verse did you read & mediate on today and what did you learn from it?
There were many scriptures our Pastor used for today's sermon but the one I kept reading over and over again is what I will use as my Day 12 challenge.
Day 12
I read and mediated on
Ephesians 1:19-22 which says, ''And what is the exceeding greatness of His power to us-ward who believe, according to the working of His mighty power.20) Which He wrought in Christ, when He raised Him from the dead, and set Him at His own right hand in the heavenly places,
21) Far above all principality, and power and might, and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this world but also in that which is to come:
22) And hath put all things under His feet, and gave Him to be head over all things to the church.
What I learnt-
From the explanation of our Pastor today, Christ is in us who believes in Him. And God has given Jesus power above all principality, and power and might, and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this world but also in that which is to come and hath put all things under His feet, and gave Him to be head over all things to the church.
Meaning that as Christ is in us, this means we have also been given all these powers too. It is now left to us to know that we have these powers and begin to use them according.
So beautiful people, how did you conquer your today's challenge?
Yours Truly,
Chidinma
Forgiving someone can be difficult. Why do we need to forgive others? How can we forgive a person? The Bible can provide us with answers, inspiration and direction.
ReplyDeleteActually, forgiveness is not only about others, but also about our own spiritual growth. Love and forgiveness cannot be separated. If we choose to live out the love of God as the purpose of our life, then forgiving is an option that cannot be avoided.
Do read the following lines.
Mat6:14-15,Col 3:13, Eph 4:31-32,Mat 18: 21-22, 1 cor13:4-6,Mat 5:23-24, Luke 6:37, Rom 12:20.
I'm not a Christian, but I do find the Bible a fascinating read and there are some verses that I love.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite would be 1 Corinthians 16:14 - 'Let all that you do, be done in love
You find the bible fascinating ....I really love that....God will certainly make your life a testimony ....fascinating and good things will before you
