Friday Inspirations- Twitter & Facebook Turned Him Down For Employment, Few Years Later He Sold His Company For $19 Billion To Facebook

Sometimes, life has a way of shooting us with disappointments upon disappointments, unknown to us that those disappointments are only moving us closer and closer to our break through.

Brian Action is the co-founder of Whastapp. On the 23rd of May in 2009, he tweeted that Twitter turned his opportunity to work with them down. On the 3rd of August 2009, he tweeted that Facebook also turned his employment opportunity with them down. 

Few months later him and Jan Koum founded the Whatsapp

we all know today. Few years later (2014), him and his partner decided to sell Whatsapp to Facebook for $19 billion US Dollars. You heard that right!

At the time, Brian had 20% shareholding in Whatsapp, so his net worth sky-rocketed to $3.8 billion. As at 2015, Brian's net worth is $4.1 billion US Dollars. Speaking of from grass to grace!!!

Life can be funny, stressful but yet very rewarding if you choose to just keep trying. Those who rejected you yesterday might come seeking for your help tomorrow. Don't give up, keep pushing. It will surely end in praise.
