A Letter To President Goodluck Jonathan

#Life

Your Excellency President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan,

I write this letter to you Sir because I see you as an inspiration. You have inspired me in many ways Sir.

You are a man of few words, a man of calmness but a great man. Though you lost the election to Muhammadu Buhari, you fought a good fight.

Over 12 million Nigerians voted to have you have back as Nigeria's President. That is quite a large number!

You might have lost the election but you earned my respect. You earned the respect of President Obama of the United States of America and the respect of other world leaders.

When you found out that there was a 99% chance of one of your opponents, Muhammadu Buhari becoming Nigeria's next president, you did something that blew my mind and the minds of Nigerians. You called him to congratulate it. What a noble man you are.

What marvelled me more is how you allowed a peaceful election to be conducted. And even after you lost the election, there has been no recorded case of bloodshed. Nigeria is currently experiencing peace and calmness after the election.

These acts of yours didn't just make President Obama of the United States to release a statement praising you for conceding defeat >>>  he also called you, thanking you for your statesmanship and for ensuring a peaceful election in Nigeria, same with other leaders of the world.

You Sir have earned my respect. You are a hero. You are a living legend. You are Goodluck Ebele Jonathan.

God Bless You Sir!

Yours Truly,
Chidinma

  1. Am not sure there are many Nigerians like President Goodluck Jonathan. I Make Bold to state clearly that he didn't just accept the choice we jointly made, but he laid the process that lead to his elevation to the number one statesman of our country.
Against opposition propaganda he stood tall. I congratulate you sir, I am not congratulating GMB because he has a war to fight, rather I encourage him to repay the faith of Nigerians by thinking
    Nigeria in all he does.
Once again, congrats to our amiable president, God bless you sir.
