Day 1 Of The 12 Days Challenge Of The Book Of Daniel

Hello Beautiful People!

Welcome to the first day of the Book of Daniel Challenge.
How did your Day 1 go? Did you study Chapter 1 of the Book of Daniel? Do you have any questions you will love to ask? Did you learn anything from today's chapter?

Please do share with us your understanding of today's chapter and please do feel free to ask your questions.

My Day 1 went well. If you will permit me, I will be explaining my day's challenge with pictures.
The first and second thing I learnt 


1) According to Verse 3 and 4, I learnt that you must always be ready.  You must keep developing and building yourself cos you never know when an opportunity that will distinguish you amongst your peers will present itself. That is, one needs to live prepared. 

2) Verse 6 is just a true definition of the proverb that says, show me your friend and I will tell you and show you who you are. 
The company of friends you keep either makes and builds you or destroys you. You are a true definition of the type of friends you keep. 
Among the children of the Isrealities that were skillful in wisdom, knowledge, understanding etc were 4 friends. This cannot by any chance be a mistake.

The third thing I learnt


3) No matter where you find yourself, never ever compromise who you are. Never ever compromise your faith in God. God is ever faithful to favour you and see you through. 

The Summary

God will always distinguish you amongst your peers if you remain steadfast in Him. 
20 friends don't play together for 20 years. Choose your friends wisely cos they can either make you great or destroy you.

    Ooopsss! I didn't read the book on DAY 1, had a very busy day. Will do just to day 2 by the grace of God.

    My day went well too, but looks like you already touched all the points and lessons during your summary. ..

    I keep getting new words of wisdom each time I read the book of Daniel.
