The One Thing That Determines How God Acts/Reacts To Your Faith

#Inspiration

A friend of mine and I got talking yesterday and he mentioned something that has been on mind till this moment and I thought I should share it.

The reference is from Philemon 1:6
It says‎ "That the communication of thy faith may become effectual by the acknowledging of every good thing which is in you through Christ Jesus".
At first glance or read, you won't really understand the full and deep meaning of this verse.

Before we go further let's explain what faith is. According to Hebrews 11:1 "Faith is the assurance of things hoped for and the evidence of things not seen".
Faith is an extension of hope. Faith means, something that you hope for and believe strongly that will be or happen though there is no proof beyond the human mind, ability and imagination that it will become a reality or come to pass.

Now what does this bible verse (Philemon 1:6) mean? It means that for your faith to be effective, for you to effectively communicate your faith to God, for God to truly understand your faith, for your faith to become a reality, you need to be thankful
And how does one become thankful? We become thankful by looking at every good thing in our lives and acknowledging them through Jesus. Shocking right?

Remember the bible says in Hebrews 11: 6 that it is impossible to please God without faith.
That means, everything you want God to do for you, can only happen when you are thankful

For example, if you have faith that you will get a better job or a better contact or will pass an exam or will excel in one thing or the other , for your faith to become a reality, for you to please God with your faith and ‎make Him move mountains for your sake, you need to thank Him. You need to acknowledge the existence of every good thing in your life through Jesus. You need not to focus on the impossible or on the bad things, rather you need to always focus on the good things and keep giving Him thanks.

I hope this inspired you in one way or the other. If it did, please kindly share with others to inspire them too.

Be Inspired.

Yours Truly,
Chidinma
