Should Men Take Part In The Things That Has To Do With The Kitchen? Let’s Talk

#Inspiration #Inhouseroundtabletalk

Hello Beautiful People!

It is Tuesday! And you know what that means? It is In House Round Table Talk

So last week, Dauda Aliu was sharing his views on the last episode (please find it here >>>  in case you missed it) of in house round table talk and what he said got my interest. So I decided to make it a topic of discussion on today's episode.

P.S- You can also suggest to us what you feel should be a topic of discussion on this forum for us to be inspired and learn from.

It is popularly known that a woman's primary office is her kitchen. But do you think men should know or learn how to cook?
Should they also help out in the things that has to do with the kitchen?
I humbly need your views to make today's In House Round Table Talk an interactive one.

This episode is meant to inspire us to learn and educate ourselves on this issue. It is also meant to inspire the men to share their views on this topic for us to learn from. Also, it is meant to inspire the men to teach us women some of their recipes that we do not know about.

My View
Should men take part in the things that has to do with the kitchen? I think they should. I feel it is beyond amazing to see a man cooking or helping out in the things that has to do with the kitchen.
I feel it is a way of sharing the domestic work. Not that he has to cook everyday, of course not. Say, every Saturday morning or if his wife is running late, he can do the cooking or when his wife is pregnant or whenever it is convenient for him to cook or whenever he really feels like cooking.

Many say, men cooking atimes strengthens a relationship or marriage and the bond between them. I can't really say about it...

But I really need your views on this topic. Dear Ladies, Dear Women, Dear Men, please what is your view on this topic. Don't worry, your views will be greatly respected and appreciated.

  1. I so much love the fact that you agree to kitchen being the primary office of a wife. But most women refuse to submit to that (speaking from experience). It will interest you all to know that a woman who does cooking, I mean prepares good meal for the husband regularly is certainly giving the husband more reasons to love her.
It is not the sole responsibility of a husband to help the wife in the kitchen but he can do so at his will. Meanwhile, a good husband shouldn't knock the wife down with kitchen responsibility, at gaps, it's necessary he do the meals too. By so doing, he's giving the wife the heels of peace and chants. And every women will be proud of such man.

I reserve my preference for my future wife.

  2. It will be nice if a man helps out in the kitchen, not as a daily routine thou, but when necessary.Such as when the lady of the house is sick, pregnant, work late sometimes,or even out of town.

  3. Hi chidinma, happy new year to you and your readers. Knowing how to cook and cooking, for boys and men as the case may be, is not negotiable. Prevailing economic climate demands for both husband and wife to make ends meet, hence the wife or woman turn chef banter should be history. However, a responsible women should have complete control over the affairs of her kitchen but personally, think it should be 65/35.the man should see his role in the the kitchen as an obligation.
The unfortunate thing about this topic isn't that men don't just help in the kitchen but are complete novice to what goes on there. I cook very well all thanks to my mum and I will take cooking as an obligation when Mrs Right waft to my path-- allow me sing my praise; Lol.
