Find The Will To Stop...Overcoming Tempetation

#Inspiration

Many atimes we find ourselves doing things we most times do not want to do. Many a times, we try our possible best to stop but all to no avail.

It is funny how Satan thought that he could tempt Jesus. Knowing fully well that Jesus is the Son of God. And also that He is the Lion Of The Tribe Of Judah who came to earth in form of a human.
What marvelled me most, was when Satan took Jesus in Matthew 4:8 to a high mountain and said to he will give Jesus everything on earth if he bows down to worship him. Like really Satan?

You are asking the God who created the WHOLE universe and all that is in it, that you will give Him a portion of what He created, if He should worship you. Seriously?

Jesus together with God The Father and God The Holy Spirit created the heaven and earth including the sliver and gold that many spends millions of dollars on...everything. So why would Satan think that he would give Jesus the Kingdoms of the world when the Kingdoms of the world are just a portion of what Jesus owns?

This just means that if the devil could tempt Jesus, he could tempt anyone. This means that the devil will bring several temptations your way. Temptations that you will find too hard to resist.

Temptations will come most times at your weakest times. But always know that, what the devil is tempting you with things that are beneath you, only if you know the child of who you are. Only if you trust in God.
If you look closely, the devil always tempts us with things that we are way higher or better than.

Did you notice that after Jesus resisted the devil and told him to get away from Him, that the angels of God came to minister to Him? The bible says and behold, the angels came and ministered to Him. Meaning and suddenly after His temptation, God's angels came and ministered to Him (Matthew 4:11).
This means that God The Father and all the heavenly bodies where present while the temptation was going on. After Jesus found the will to overcome the devil, there was a great rejoice in heaven and the angels of God came to minister to Him.

At the end of it all, after all the temptation Jesus overcame on earth, God The Father ''highly exalted Him and gave Him a name which is above every name: that at the name of Jesus, every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth; and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord...'' (Philippians 2:9-11). WHAT AN HONOUR!

If Jesus fell for any of the devil's temptations, He would not have been honoured by God The Father. He would not have reconciled us back to the Father. We all would not have received the free gift of eternal life and the list goes on and on.
Meaning that you LOSE MORE THAN YOU BARGAINED FOR WHEN YOU FALL FOR THE DEVIL'S TEMPTATION (S).

So if you think that God has abandoned you or left you to suffer because the temptation you are going through is too much for you to handle and you have every urge to give in. I urge you my darling, please find the will to overcome the temptation.
Find the will to resist the devil. Remember, the teacher is always silent during the test.

God is with you. It may look as though He is not there, but He is right there with you. Just look at how God was silent when Jesus was tempted. Jesus overcame the devil by the word of God.

When you overcome your temptation, the honour, the crown and glory that God will bestow upon you will render you and everyone around you speechless with praise and amazement.

So my dear, please find the will to overcome that temptation no matter what it may be. If you are finding it difficult to stop, remember, Jesus overcame the devil by the word of God. Try finding the will to come the devil through the word of God.

You are way stronger than you think. God Loves You. I Love You.
