This actually happened to be a suggestion made by a colleague of mine. This is just to inspire us ladies/ women on how to cook certain kinds of foods that we do not know how to cook. It is also to inspire ladies and women who do not know how to cook on how to cook and also to inspire the guys to also learn how to cook, especially the bachelors and together, we will inspire one another. *winks* Cos eating out every time is really pretty expensive, right?
Today's post on foods is on Abacha. Abacha also known as African Salad happens to be a meal I love so much. Abacha happens to be my guilt pleasure food. I just can't get enough of it.

One thing great thing about Abacha is that, it does not take less than 30 minutes to prepare, Great right?
What you need to prepare Abacha:
- A mortar
- 2 bowl
- Hot water
- Abacha
- Maggi/Salt
- Grinded Crayfish
- Grinded Pepper
- Fresh pepper
- Palm oil
- Sliced onions
- Dry/smoked fish or any kind of meat/fish you want
- Garden egg... optional
- Vegetable... optional
Step By Step Guide On How To Prepare Abacha : African Salad
1) Get your hot water ready.
Abacha
2) Pour hot water into the bowl with Abacha.
P.S- Soak your desired quantity of Abacha.
3) Leave ''2 ''to soak for a few minutes.
4) Pour hot water into the bowl with dry/smoked fish.
5) Leave ''4'' to soak for a few minutes.
Mortar and Pestle
5) Mix your dry pepper, fresh pepper, sliced onions, crayfish, dry fish (after you have soaked it in hot water for a few minutes) in a mortal.
6) Sieve your soaked Abacha with a colander
7) Pour your sieved Abacha and palm oil (little quantity) into the mixture
8) Add maggi/salt, sliced onions, other ingredients you so desire, vegetable into the mixture and stir.
9) After that, you can go ahead and garnish your food with sliced garden eggs (if you want).
and VIOLA! Your food is ready! ENJOY!
Please don't forget to eat in moderation. Remember we are trying to live, look and feel healthy.
