Many a times we pay huge amount of money on hospital bills when we can easily take preventive measures which can help prevent us from not just falling sick/ill but also help us save cost and live healthy.
Below are some healthy daily habits we need to cultivate for a better life and also to be a better us:
- Drink lots of water.
- Wash your hands before eating anything.
- Wash your hands immediately you get home
- Wash your hands after visiting the toilet.
- Have enough sleep.
- Cover your tooth brush if you keep yours in your bathroom. This helps prevent bacteria from the toilet entering your toothbrush. Of course the next place your toothbrush goes into is your mouth and you know what that means. Right?
The best preventive measure to take is to keep your toothbrush outside your bathroom if at all you cannot cover it.
- Eat clean.
- Exercise. The importance of this cannot really be overemphasized. Many will say, ''well I am slim, there is no need for me exercising''. Hmm... It is not by being slim that one exercises but by being healthy. Because in the end, your body, your mind, your health and your mental state will thank you.

- Once you are outside, you need to protect your eyes by wearing sunglasses.

- Avoid missing breakfast. Breakfast is said to be the most important meal in a day. Like the popular saying that goes thus ''Eat breakfast like a king, lunch like a prince and dinner like a beggar. That is, the least amount of food you should eat in a day should be your dinner and not breakfast.
- Do not skip meals. Many believe that skipping meals makes them lose weight but in the actual sense, skipping meals makes one look old.

- Do not put your phone near you/your head when you sleep. Very important.
- Do not make or receive calls when your phone is charging.
- Do not make calls when your phone battery is almost dead.
- Floss your teeth before brushing. Floss your teeth after eating.

P.S- The below might not seem like an healthy habits to cultivate but one should at least cultivate these in his/her daily lifestyle:
- Chew a mint gum for a few minutes to freshen your breathe.
- Wear a perfume/cologne.
