Day 11 Of The 20 Days Challenge Of Reading & Mediating On Atleast 1 Bible Verse In A Day

#Challenge

Day 11 of our ongoing Bible challenge. 9 more days till it is over. Who is excited and who is sad? *Smiles*

So, which bible verse did you read & mediate on today and what did you learn from it?

In today's challenge, I read and mediated on 3 verses and they are:
Malachi 3: 10-11 which says, ''Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be meat in mine house, and prove me now herewith, saith the Lord of hosts, if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough to receive it.

11, And I will rebuke the devourer for your sakes, and he shall not destroy the fruits of your ground; neither shall your vine cast her fruit before the time in the field, saith the Lord of hosts''.

1 John 4: 18 which says, ''There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear: because fear hath torment. He that feareth is not made perfect in love''.

Psalm 37:4 which says ''Delight thyself in the Lord; and he shall give thee the desires of thine heart''

What I learnt-
In Malachi 3:10-11, God is saying that we should always endeavor to pay our tithes and when we do, He will bless us beyond what we ever needed. He will fight for us and He will also ensure that things goes according to plan.

If the above doesn't happen, we can always go back to Him and say Lord, remember you said we should prove You in so so and so area if we paid our tithes, we have obeyed your command, it is time for you to prove yourself Lord.

In I John 4:18, we have the perfect love of Christ in us so there suppose to not be any element of fear in us. If there is, we ought to cast it out because the perfect love we have in God drives away fear. If we fear then the perfect love of God is not in us.

Psalm 37:4,  when we walk according to God's doctrine and ways, He grant unto us the desires of our heart and meet us at the point of our various needs.

So beautiful people, how did you conquer your today's challenge?

Yours Truly,
Chidinma
