4 Unhealthy Foods That Are Actually Healthy To Eat

#Lifestyle

Yes, I know that in this day and age, everyone is trying to be healthy and also look healthy as much as possible. We also inspire ourselves on this blog to look and feel healthy.

But do you know that there are some foods that we most times tag as unhealthy to eat but are in actual fact healthy? Some of them were among the list of foods we mentioned could be eaten on our cheat day (please find here >>> ).

Rater than go on, why not we see for ourselves what these foods are, shall we?

1) Dark Chocolates

Cocoa as we all know is very good for our health. That said, did you know that dark chocolates possess 70% of cocoa in them? According to research and multiple studies, dark chocolates are good for the heart and brain. It as also been suggested that it may also be good for obesity, autism and diabetes (a post on diabetes here >>> ).

Did you also know that chocolates helps reduce one's risk of having stroke? This chocolate also has loads of minerals in it like potassium, selenium and zinc.

2) Peanut Butter

I love me some peanut butter especially the crunchy ones*Yummy* But I try as much as possible to avoid it because of the unhealthy tag surrounding it...well not anymore *dancing*

Research shows that peanut butter is actually good for you because it is made from monounsaturated and polyunsaturated oils which are healthy. Peanut butter is know to be rich in Vitamin E, magnesium, folic acid, antioxidants and niacin. And did you know that peanut butters are also high in protein. Bon A Petite.

3) Egg Yolk

It is a common saying that wen eating eggs, try and eat only the egg white and put away the egg yolk. But did you know this egg yolk we feel guilty eating most times are actually healthy for us?

Did you know that the egg yolk you throw away has more vitamins than the egg white you consume? Egg yolk contains so many vitamins such as folate, B6, Vitamin A, D, E and K, B-12.

Carotenoids are in egg yolks and they help improve one's eye health, did you know this?

Choline is a nutrient in egg yolks along side other minerals and vitamins which helps in the promotion of the heart and cardiovascular health.

4) Beef

I know many of you will say what??? But did you know that beef has the highest amount of iron compared to any other meat? Beef has in it wonderful nutrients such as zinc, B-12 vitamins, protein and as we earlier mentioned iron which the body needs for proper metabolism.

...I hope you learnt a thing or two from this post? However please whatever you eat should be eaten in moderation
