Before I start, I would love to say I am sorry for not publishing any post this past weekend. I had a really busy weekend. But I'm back! Let's get ready to inspire one another!

Almond is most times referred to as to a nut however, almond is a fruit from the almond tree. The reason why many believe that it is a nut is because it has this nut like crunchy taste similar to peanut. Almond is a fruit that can be eaten alone or can be used to garnish your food or can be used to eat bread i.e. Almond butter. 

Almond is a fruit that many like me (I recently got to know about this delicious fruit) do not know or are not really aware of . But will be shocked to know that this fruit contains many powerful benefits.

- Do you know that almonds help to develop one's brain and also help keep it in good health?

- Do you know that almond is a fruit recommended to eat during pregnancy? This is because, almonds help reduce the chances of newborn babies having birth defects.

- Do you know that almond helps reduce the risk of heart diseases?

- Do you know that almonds help control high blood pressure?

- Do you want a healthy hair? If you do, then it's time you eat almonds more. 

- Do you know that almond helps take care of your skin giving thereby improving the complexion of your skin and giving you that fresh, healthy and glowing skin?

- There are some fats that are good for the body and some that are not good for the body. Almonds on the other hand helps give the body good fats (fatty acids) which help reduce the amount of cholesterol and inflammation in the body.

Osteoporosis means a medical condition in which the bones become brittle and fragile from loss of tissue, typically as a result of hormonal changes, or deficiency of calcium or vitamin D (Google dictionary).

Almond is one of the few fruits/food that form alkaline. The body needs sufficient alkaline. When one's body lacks sufficient amount of alkaline one has a high risk of suffering from osteoporosis, weight gain, poor immune system and low energy.
